Raincheck Art Magazine is entirely community-driven. We are grateful to create content by and about our community, and we can’t do it without your help. You can contribute here. We would also love to partner with you through advertising options on a one-time or sustaining basis. If that interests you, or if you’re interested in making a significant contribution (financially or in trade-in-kind) to help us get off the ground, email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Here at Raincheck, we pride ourselves on publishing original creative work by Southeast Alaskans. If you’re interested in submitting your work, please read the submission guidelines and answer the questions below . Reach out to email@example.com with any questions. Thank you for your interest!
Artists should be from or based in Juneau and/or Southeast Alaska.
We accept all kinds of creative work. Categories include but are not limited to poetry, prose (fiction and creative non-fiction), photography, visual art, filmed performance art or videography, and audio recordings or music.
We consider only unpublished work, with the exception of work that has been featured on personal blogs or social media posts. Please notify us immediately if a piece you submit to us is accepted and appears elsewhere.
A single submission should reflect a piece or collection of cohesive work. You may submit up to 3 cohesive works per month. All submissions should reflect the artists’ own original content.
Please note that if you are published, you will not be eligible for publication again for 3 months’ time.
To submit, email the following to firstname.lastname@example.org:
- Uploaded Work.
- A short cover letter (½ page) reflecting who you are and your publication history if relevant.
- Have you published or submitted this work elsewhere? If so, please specify.
- Have you submitted to us before?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to publish all of the great work we receive. We appreciate how much effort and energy go into each submission. As such, we are working to compile a list of other cool and local publications and sites to submit your art to! Stay tuned.
